A leading modern dictionary, Webster's Third
International Dictionary, defines anarchism
briefly but accurately as, "a political theory
opposed to all forms of government and
governmental restraint and advocating voluntary
cooperation and free association of individuals
and groups in order to satisfy their needs." Other
dictionaries describe anarchism with similar
definitions. The Britannica-Webster dictionary
defines the word anarchism as, "a political theory
that holds all government authority to be
unnecessary and undesirable and advocates a
society based on voluntary cooperation of
individuals and groups." Shorter dictionaries,
such as the New Webster Handy College Dictionary,
define anarchism as, "the political doctrine that
all governments should be abolished."

Ricky, many victims of modern life are facing the need to overcome the stigma of clinical insanity. I see no shame in it myself, but there are those who fail to understand. Some clinicians like to destroy brain tissue with neurotoxic "medications", but here at the Recreational Psychiatry(TM) unit, we refuse such hypocrisy and charge the problem directly with our scalpels or with automotive electronics. There really is no shame in clinical insanity - take the plucky little Oz PM. I adapted a car's engine management computer to run his brain, and he is doing okay - that is if you like that kind of okay... |

I know that Michael Savage says that "liberalism is a mental dissorder", and yes perhaps it is. But, I don't think that Ex_Liberal_Voter is necessarily insane. Possibly lazy, poor, unproductive, and maybe a devoute stundent of Bumonomics. But, insanity is not something that we professionals should take so lightly, don't you agree Doctor? In fact, I think you missed the whole point of my response to ELV's dictionary lessons. Some people can't handle the TRUTH, so they get violent, act irrational, and become completely devoid of logic. Other's can't handle looking in the mirror at their ugliness that has withered, not only their face, but their grey matter. This often leads to confusion, ambivolence, animosity, and in severe cases depression and mental deficiency. But, I have yet to see a case where any of the above would be the root cause of true insanity. So, I think you should go back and re-evaluate Mr. ELV, before jumping to such abrupt psychological conclusions. |
