Treasurer Wayne Swan's suggestion that property
speculators with their savings frozen in
speculative funds should seek help from Centrelink,
is "contemptuous" of the exalted glory of the
"investing" class, federal Opposition Leader
Manbull Trollcum says.
Centrelink is okay for thrashing impoverished working
people and pensioners, but it is just awful to expect
the noble speculators to submit to the mandatory
anal probings that Centrelink systematically
applies to its clients.
