I am a strong proponent of Mandatory Voting for everyone, except drug addicts and convicted felons. The penalty for not voting should be a temporary loss of citizenship and all rights that citizenship provides. If someone is a reapeate offender, then citizen rights should be permanently revoked and the offender should be forced to leave the country or become a second class citizen. |
