Channel 7 Election night presenter David Koch was physically assaulted by his gay lover after Mr Koch was clearly embarrassed when he showed up unannounced at the studios. Infurariated by Mr Koch's reaction and attempts of being shoved into a closet he lashed out Mr Koch shouting something about never being allowed out in public. Despite scratches and bruising Koch carried on after his partner was removed by security.
