powers that be, knowing that the
average Oz citizen is about as
sharp as a rotten banana, have
now remade democracy so that
public input has no effect.
Remember the toy steering wheel
that you could attach to the car
dashboard? Your infant could
safely pretend to drive while you
did the actual driving.
Maybe with the deep infantilism
that afflicts most Oz voters, a
toy, make-believe democracy is
all that they should expect.
Horribly, I suspect that, just
like infants, they would not
care, even if they did know!
