THE PSYCHOLOGY OF A BIGOT

THE PSYCHOLOGY OF A BIGOT

Xenox News is a useful place to study various unusual character types.

A good example is the odd ball Ricardovitz who is perhaps the archtypical bigot.

Wikipedia definition: A bigot is a prejudiced person who is intolerant of any opinions differing from their own or intolerant of people of different political views, ethnicity, race, class, religion, sexuality or gender.

That Ricardovitz is a bigot is quite clear to anyone who has read any of his posts on Xenox News. It gives us a wonderful opportunity to delve in and understand better the bizarre psychology of a bigot.

EINSTEIN - DID HE MEAN HOW... OR WHY?

EINSTEIN - DID HE MEAN HOW... OR WHY?

" I want to know how God created this world. I am not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know his thoughts; the rest are details."
Albert Einstein

Reading this pithy quote I became momentarily confused.

In the first sentence Albert says "I want to know how". But doesn't the rest of the quote suggest that he really wanted to know why and not how?

A New Reason For Living

A New Reason For Living

They say ignorance is bliss. This is certainly true for the meritocracy of our fast and bulbous society. Drained of any useful knowledge they preen and prattle about why we all should be following their commands and their ideas.

A little bit knowledge goes a long way. So what?

Thought. It is a lie.

If your thought has been trapped inside your mind for long enough you will find the answer. An answer. Any answer.

On no account should you believe that that a world fleshed out with knowledge is not just a bunch of re-arranged sentences; errors could be made (most likely by you) but via my corrective reasoning; my deductive rationality; my strength of will… all will be corrected. In the end.

How many Gods dance on the head of a pin? Ask the question and you will never know the answer.

Are there any women here today?

Eventually your brain will run out of space and that is when the spite, the anger, the fear kicks in.

Other difficulties exist for mental logic.

Close your eyes, ignore your reality, live the lies. It is your only chance.

The definition spreads optimism like a virus.

READ THE SIGNS

: blankblankblankblankblank
READ THE SIGNS

The cynical rationalist needs proof, "Proof I need! Gimme proof", before attributing legitimacy, or, respect, to anything 'not fully documented'.

Meanwhile the signs are all around us.

Syncronous moments flash us continually.

Think it, and it appears, manifesting often instantly.

Ancient like hieroglyphics, mysterious sensations, dreams and sign posts bombard our wakeful and sleep states constantly. To the rationalist they are but junk, flotsam, the sub-conscious mind emptying itself, "its a small world", "I must have been tired or stoned". Excuses become the norm despite the massive influx of 'irrational like' messages and indicators.

My advice for a healthy outlook is to:

1. Keep an open mind.

2. Read the signs and evaluate them without prejudice.

Only this way can you do your bit to boost the evolution of our species. Unlike the "closed door" thinkers who prefer to stifle the development of the evolving primate.
