I don't get how so many people can be so completely fucking straight. Unless they are hiding something? Prescription drugs perhaps or psychiatrists?

When I saw Jonathan at the club there was a guy in the audience who kept on calling out "Speed freak" "Speed freaks" "get off the go" at the Modern Lovers. I don't know what information this was based on. Might it just have been JR's boggle eyes and transcendental demeanour? Or could the caller outer have been flying on speed himself, seeing his reflection in the band? There certainly was a trace of envy in his voice. Or could Jono have actually been a speed freak? Is he on the meth now? How many albums has he released of late? And by taking meth would one become more productive or less productive. So many questions; so little time to experiment.
