The boys of the Monash Raiders indoor soccer team had another stunning win last night making it 3 from 3 in the opening rounds of the Tuesday Night Division 3 Mentally Impaired and Slightly Pissed League. This leaves the lads clear leaders atop the ladder! In a bruising encounter against "Russell Athletic" the Raiders got off to a flyer; banging in the first 4 goals. The Irish Flash was at his scintillating best with searching runs and lightning quick breaks. At half time the Raiders were looking strong with a 5-2 scoreline. But after the break Athletic hit back running all over the Raiders in the first 10 minutes of the half and scoring 5 unanswered goals. It was looking like the Raiders might have done their dash but they stepped up another gear and went berserk with a 7 goal to nothing spree to end the match clear winners 12-7.
