This video is fantastic. So many Aussies seem to think that propaganda only happens in the US. No way, the Corby case is the ultimate example of how textbook propaganda has been used to blind us from the facts. Remember how the Howard government kept telling the public to stay calm, that they would intervene after Corby's legal processes were finished? Well, while the legal processes were underway, the media set about destroying her character and smearing her family. By the time the legal processes were finished, most Aussies barely cared anymore. Coincidence? I think not. At the time of Corby's arrest, one brother out 5 siblings had been in trouble with the law. Even the most conservative of families are capable of having a child that goes down the wrong path. Her father had been fined for possession of marijuana in the 70s, but no-one knew until he mentioned it to a reporter, and everyone from politicians to celebrities have admitted to smoking pot in the 70s. Why the double standard for Corby? Years after Corby's arrest, her other brother broke into the home of drug dealers - he claims he was tipped off that they were linked to the case. Instead of probing further into his claims, where there may have been a real story, the media waved the story around as "proof" of Schapelle's guilt. The whole nation seems to believe the family are dealing drugs but there is not a shred of proof! |

The above comment is from a reporter. Schapelle Corby is an innocent person. A excellent and well presented video. What will change the future behavior of the Australian Media ? I am a member of the public and I want truth in reporting not gossip. They have successfully turned Schapelle into an object unworthy of the most basic human compassion by her countrymen. Its sickening! |

Howard is the criminal in all matters relating to Corby's incarceration. He could have stood up to the Indonesian Government as the Oz govt knew about the drug trafficking in Australian airports and kept it under hat in case they caught bigger fry in their airport investigations. All they caught were a couple of AFP officers peddling drugs. This film goes a long way in explaining the way the media manipulated the pubic perception of Schapelle's guilt. No wonder that Fairfax is sacking journos as all they can gather is muck. |

Oh, what words of wisdom. "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree?" Give me a break. I suppose you don't believe in the right to a fair trial? I hope you lock your luggage securely because I have a newsflash for you. Most people know someone who has smoked pot. Most people have smoked it themselves. Corrupt baggage handlers WERE importing drugs at the same time Schapelle boarded her flight, and we are all at risk of being the next Schapelle if nothing is done about this outrageous situation. The only way Schapelle can get a pardon is to admit her "guilt", yet 4 years on she is still maintaining her innocence like she did from Day 1. Something to think about. |

| The reason convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby doesn't admit her guilt is because the truth hurts. Right now she knows that there are still people gullible enough to believe in her innocence, so she gets lots of gifts and attention. For what it's worth, she enjoys being in prison in Bali. She can go out whenever she wants - shopping or to a restaurant or to the hairdresser. It's easy for her to see her sister. The conditions in Indonesian prisons are great compared to other countries in the area - please don't believe there's any hardship. She's just a bogan drug smuggler. Don't waste your sympathy on her - think instead of the poor victims who would have used the drugs she smuggled. |
