Iraqi 'fun'-da-'mental'-ists today welcomed US forces into the streets of Baghdad with hugs and flowers. Several thousand armed men, led by a man by the name of Abu Hatem Mohammed Ali, captured the headquarters of the governorate, (365 km) southeast of Baghdad, without support from U.S. forces.
Meanwhile Kurdish fighters still face off with Iraqi soldiers as they close in on Mosel. Baghdad erupting in celebration is now clogged by traffic jams.
ALI Ismaeel Abbas, 12, was fast asleep when war shattered his life. A missile obliterated his home and most of his family, leaving him orphaned, badly burned - and blowing off both his arms. "It was midnight when the missile fell on us. My father, my mother and my brother died. My mother was five months pregnant." With tears running down his face he asked: "Can you help get my arms back? Do you think the doctors can get me another pair of hands? If I don't get a
pair of hands I will commit suicide."
Ah, the price of freedom.
34 coalition troops died in the first few days of April.
Now Iran has plenty of reasons to be paranoid as the Bush administration calls for regime change in Syria; the Kurds and Turks and other Islamic groups take up their agendas and enter Iraq to fight for their 'share' of the action. A slice of historical pie anyone?
One thing for sure.....weapons of mass destruction.....uh uh...not anything of significance... Threat to world security; sorry, wrong number.....bad as Hitler....solly, no glot, clum black fliday.

Hey, but what difference does it make now? The area 'has been secured'. The US now extend their might and world dominance....better keep quiet guys; you might cop it in the pills from the big boys.
