Another "Turning Point" in Iraq has Bush in a spin

Now that the "democratic" elections (another "turning point!") have come and gone, Iraq is about to get a whole lot more interesting... and as the ancient Chinese curse goes: "May you live in interesting times".

"With 3.3 million votes counted from about 10 mostly southern provinces, the United Iraqi Alliance of mainly Shiite religious parties is so far garnering an astounding 66% of the seats in parliament..." says www.juancole.com.

Looks like Iraq is on course for a a religious Shiite government closely allied to Iran and its long-standing support for Shiites long oppressed by Saddam Hussein. Not quote the compliant puppet regime the Bushies are salivating for!

Oops, George, you did it again!
