PATRIOT: LIVE FROM KUWAIT CITY

Monday, 17 March 2003 By Patriot
I am reporting for Xenox News live from Kuwait. It looks like war is imminent. The intransigence of the appeasing nations of Europe has made a mockery of the UN Security Council. The ‘coalition of the willing” has bent over backwards to satisfy their demands; but enough is enough. That evil dictator Saddam has had 12 years to disarm. The time to draw a line in the sand is now. We cannot afford to let him pass on his weapons of mass destruction to terrorists. We cannot allow the people of Iraq to live under tyranny any longer.

At this time our thoughts go out to the brave soldiers who are here. They will lead the assault on Saddam and risk their lives for our freedom. Now is the time to get behind them, no matter what your thoughts on the war. They need our support, not insults. With their strength and training we can be sure that this war will be quick and all casualties kept to a minimum. Whatever civilian damage is done there can be no doubt who will be responsible. Saddam Hussein and, to a major extent, those countries who blocked the peaceful attempts to disarm him. The chance for the world to unite behind President Bush and force Saddam to give up his weapons of mass destruction looks like it has been missed because of France’s arrogance. These countries of ‘old Europe’ have seem to forgotten the sacrifices needed to stay free.

I would like to end by asking all of Xenox News readers to have a silent prayer for the leaders of the United States, Britain, and Australia. They have taken on the awesome burden of defending our democracies from an evil enemy who has no respect for freedom or the sanctity of human life. We hope that God will grant them the blessing they deserve.

Amen
