It is entirely possible - and quite proper - to fight both terrorism and oppose US unilateralism.
As long as U.S. President G.W. Bush proclaims we are either with him or against him, the terrorists will have the upper hand.

And with Australian PM John Howard once again exposed in attempting to politicise critical events to his own advantage (much as former Spanish PM Aznar did), the erosian of "Western" Democracy continues.

    Remind me again: what defines a terrorist act? Yassin was a paraplegic from birth, confined to a wheelchair for life. And the Sharon government needed three missiles to obliterate him from the face of the earth, neither caring about bystanders nor the global - not to mention Middle Eastern - outcry it would provoke. Sharon has learned well from the unhinged Bush regime. Or should that be the other way round?!

    You see the thing with Jews is they don't want to let themselves die. So they will do anything...I mean anything...to keep loved ones alive. I worked with an ICU Dr he told me that in Caulfield you had to keep them going until their heart burst and their lungs were pumped dry.

    I iamgine old Sharon is getting the same treatment.
