Well if they won't, will we?

Aussie Foreign Minister Downer pleads with the new Spanish government to keep their troops in Iraq. It will be a victory for the terrorists if they don't. Well why doesn't he say that as a strong ally in the GWOT, Australia will step into the breach and replace those terrorist-appeasing Spaniards with some tough Aussie diggers?

What a great way to show we are really serious about defeating those evil terrorists!

C'mon lil' Johnny whaddya reckon? It would be a great election year statement; and would definitely differentiate your mob from Latham's losers!

I'd be more excited about the government intervening with McDonalds, Hungry Jacks and KFC and forcing them to use real bread rolls; now that would improve our quality of life!

"At this point, it shouldn't matter whether you're whether you're a dove or a hawk, left or right, concerned with the suffering of others or concerned merely with your own skin. Bush's "war on terrorism" is a "cure" that increases the spread of the disease. "
