This is what I've heard. Y'know that NASA mission to shoot a probe at that comet? Well rather than being the spectacular success as reported in the media it was actually a disastrous failure.
In fact it has actually deflected the comet onto a collision course with earth!
Impact time is estimated to be 1330 GMT tomorrow. It is expected that life on earth will be extinguished. All the false reporting was to stop the panic.
