UNHINGED PM ADDICTED TO IRAQ "SURGE"

The Oz PM has finally "surged" past
the crucial "hinge point".


In the only way he knows, the Oz PM
is crying for help. He has given a broad
hint about his unhinged condition by
harping on the phrase "hinge point".

After eleven years of habituation to
strong laxatives in his special geriatric
medications, he mind has been twisted by
the effects of colonic "surge" and he is
so strangely affected by the word that
even in the face of his "mounting despair
and pessimism over Iraq" he still cannot
stop himself. In his mind "surge" means
"laxative" and laxatives have always
fixed his colonic troubles, so his dementia
leads him to believe it will work in Iraq.
