Journalist Paul McGough from Australian main stream paper reported today on Radio National that authorities tried to bury a recent survey that reported that only 2% of Iraqis see the U.S. as liberators. The stats from the poll also showed that the majority of Iraqis want the foreign forces out. Paul McGough gave an analogy to the effect "how would you cope if your local government was taken over by the Chinese or Indonesians and you were told 'we don't like how you are doing it so we will keep you under our surveillance and apply certain restrictions until you have got things right in our way of thinking'."
