Friedrich victim of Anti-Nazi smear campaign

It has been accepted for some time that Nietzsche died from syphilis. Apparently there is no medical evidence that attests to this fact and this allegation was started by one of Nietzsche's most vocal critics, Wilhelm Lange-Eichbaum, after WW II. Whoever despises himself still respects himself as one who despises. It has been accepted as a fact by subsequent generations of academics. He probably died of brain cancer according to Dr Leonard Sax. Dr Sax made the discovery while reseaching the accounts of Nietzsche's dementia in 1889. Dr Sax was also a friend of Jack Kerouac and the subject of one of his books.
