Military support: Gulf War, 2003
30 named "coalition of the willing" members but most are offering only logistic support to the US force of 255,000 troops
Britain: 45,000 troops
Australia: 2000 troops
Ah, good old Johnny, still ducking and dodging, the slimey weasle!
I heard $90 Billion US.... Does that translate into $168 bill Aus?
Zoot Suit
The Age reports $168 Billion.
Feels just like old times! Adolf would be pleased, after all, he invented the "first strike" justification when he invaded Poland. And now that dickless donkey in the White House reckons he can perefect the Fuhrer's blitzkrieg! Better get a lawer, son.

White House and congressional sources said Bush intends to send Congress a bill seeking more than $70 billion to pay for the war

Hey Yugo, the Prime Noster never got to the Azores! He never got invited! Thats what Dumbya really thinks of his little Aussie suck-hole!

So the Yanks have "shown their cards": realising the UN security Council would NOT sanction a US invasion of Iraq, the Yanks have walked away. Open slather!
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." - Teddy Roosevelt
Perhaps we can take some comfort in the fact that there probably isn't a government in the world that considers John Howard of any consequence or import.
Four legs good, two legs bad!
Retired CIA officers are appealing to colleagues still inside to go public with evidence the Bush administration is faking intelligence to support its attack on Iraq.

They say the administration's public evidence about the immediacy of Iraq's threat to the United States and its alleged ties to al-Qaida does not meet an intelligence professional's standards of proof.

That Harold is a sick sick man.
Bush lies about his "humanitarian" justification for invading Iraq. Be aware of the constant references to preserving Iraq's borders... the Iraqi Kurds, Shi-ite Muslims etc may be rid of Saddam thanks to US aggression, but they will not win independence. The greedy Bush regime will make sure of that!
Meanwhile, in the "Palestinian Territories"...

Well I creating your own Armageddon is one way to prove your interpretation of the Bible is correct. "See we even got the dates right!"
For 30 years, America's veto policy in the United Nations has been central to its foreign policy. More than 70 times the United States has shamelessly used its veto in the UN, most recently to crush a Security Council resolution condemning the Israeli killing of the British UN worker Iain Hook in Jenin last December.

Anonymous 23 years ago No ifs, no buts, no maybes: NO WAR!
It is no exaggeration to say that this war is the most unpopular in modern history. Before the war has begun there have been more people protesting it in this country alone than was the case at the height of the anti- Vietnam war demonstrations during the 60s and 70s.

When Bush and his parrots Blair and Howard rant about Iraq's flouting of 17 UN resolutions as a pretext for war, the 64 resolutions flouted by Israel (with US support) are never mentioned.

Who wants this war? The Zionist lobby, the right-wing Christians, andr the military-industrial complex!

please add Ignorant Cunt to the list above.
If/when the USA attacks Iraq, expect more terror, not less...

Of 1,945 Palestinians killed by the Israeli army in the uprising against Israeli occupation, 365 were innocent civilians, including 130 under the age of 16.

Until Palestinians are treated as human beings, terror will grow...

Heathen dog. You will pay for your insolence. The Great Satan has blinded you. What is the last thing you expect Sadaam to do? He is going to attack your lines. You fools! You have created this madness.

He's STILL lying about his "commitment"... just waiting for his orders from Bush! Fuckin "hyperthetical" four-eyed old cunt!
John Howard isn't asking Australia to commit to war. He has committed us to war whether we like it or not.
Fuckin dickheads asking for more of the same they obviously want and need terrorism to justify there morally bankrupt policies

Norman Mailer recently said: "My long experience with human nature - I'm 80 years old now - suggests that it is possible that fascism, not democracy, is the natural state." Presidunce of the United States of Amnesia George Dumbya obviously thinks so too!
John Howard is asking Australia to commit to a war that may bring terrorism to our shores in order to help the Iraqi people, while just 18 months ago he was shunning Iraqis seeking asylum from the same dicatator.

johnny thought he was on a winner backing the bush attack on iraq... now he cant back OUT and will go down in history as one of the 3 supposedly civilised nations who defied the united nations and started a middle east war for now logical or justifiable reason. make no mistake: the american invasion of iraq will be illegal and america will never recover from the disgrace. simply put, if its ok for america to attack anyone it pleases in defiance of the un, then ANYONE else can do the same. in other words, north korea will be justified if it attacks the usa... after all, the yanks have theatened it with war too!
how about that half million dollar "media centre' the yanks have rigged up in qatar, designed by a hollywood specialist! so as the us military can dummy feed the international press on america's invasion of iraq
Anonymous 23 years ago Rogue States Prepare to Defy U.N.
the scariest thing about this fabricated "iraq crisis" is the demonstrated ignorance and gullibility of american citizens (most of whom DIDNT vote for george jr.
americans have little knowledge, understanding - or interest in - places and evnts beyond their own shoreline. the 11 september 2001 horrors got their attention!
Telepathy for sure...
"please George talk to me..ive repeated what you told me for last few days..c'mon help mez"

Live via satellite maybe? Video conference? IRC? Blog? Telepathy maybe?
The fact that he aint there shows what a pissant he is.
