READ THE SIGNS

The cynical rationalist needs proof, "Proof I need! Gimme proof", before attributing legitimacy, or, respect, to anything 'not fully documented'.

Meanwhile the signs are all around us.

Syncronous moments flash us continually.

Think it, and it appears, manifesting often instantly.

Ancient like hieroglyphics, mysterious sensations, dreams and sign posts bombard our wakeful and sleep states constantly. To the rationalist they are but junk, flotsam, the sub-conscious mind emptying itself, "its a small world", "I must have been tired or stoned". Excuses become the norm despite the massive influx of 'irrational like' messages and indicators.

My advice for a healthy outlook is to:

1. Keep an open mind.

2. Read the signs and evaluate them without prejudice.

Only this way can you do your bit to boost the evolution of our species. Unlike the "closed door" thinkers who prefer to stifle the development of the evolving primate.

    Rationalist not cynical... merely requesting proof.

    Hey "Smart arse Prof", you say that you are not a cynic but all the proof you need is right in front of you, all around you, but you and your kind can't see it, (just like ricky can't see that his buddy IS a drug guzzling communist). If you do actually have any intelligence, it must be because you DON'T WANT to see it, or don't want to know and understand more. Then again, perhaps you are really just another dumb primate replete with the typical built-in defence mechanisms that will keep your organism's balance relatively safe.

    A good example of selected rationalism are those dismissing the testimony of 120 ex-air force men who witnessed UFO activity at nuclear bases and who are all willing to put their credibility on the line.

    Mass delusion?

    I think the so called rationalists exhibit mass delusion on a much wider scale.
