EARLY SWING IS CLEAR: ABBOTT WILL BE AUSSIE PM!

Put down your glasses ladies and gentlemen. I can call the 2010 election for you now.

New Aussie PM Tony Abbott

Tony Abbott will be Australia's new Prime Minister!

The three year flirtation of Aussies with the namby pamby socialists is over. Time for some sanity and decency to return.

The champagne corks are popping in Cranbourne as I type!

God bless Australia! You little beauty Tony!

Digger,

Cranbourne

    Take a deep breath friends.

    It's too early for triumphalism.

I stand by my claim that Tony Abbott will be our new PM. The electorate has voted overwhemingly for the Lib/Nats compared to the ALP; so the independents should listen to the will of the Australian people and support an Abbott Government.
Any other option would be undemocratic and a sham!

Bonkers Br'er Abbott - after holding his breath a really really long time - reckons that after the ''savage swing'' against Labor, ''the public expects a change of government''. Delusional as ever. The redhead may be compromised but she always did have more ligitimacy - and nouse - than the Mad monk. And since when is a lousy 2% considered “savage”? Get thee to a nunnery, Friar Fuck, you achieved bugger all except further destabilise your own fractured party. Enjoy the political wilderness, you village idiot, you've earned it. Cheers, Tina!

Australia has just dodged a bullet but Br'er Abbott remains armed and dangerous and wants to fire-at-will. Please be advised, padre pencil-neck, the panto is over, the band has retired for the night and the circus has left town. Now there's serious work to be done so back to your factional minders you go for further instructions. Meanwhile, with the Greens as a moral compass and balancing force, we may get a glimpse of parliamentary democracy at long last. Not sure if we should celebrate just yet but what the hell... keep those spritzers coming, Tina. Cheers!

Looks like the GG plant by the ALP could be their saviour. What a disgrace that the Queens representative has been degraded into just another Union apparatchik.

Your average Aussie won't stand for it if their desire for an Abbott government is thwarted by lefty corruption.

One week on and me and all fair dinkum Aussies are furious. How much longer will the ALP continue the charade that they have some right to govern? When will the left leaning media stop their bias and report what every fair minded observer knows is true; Tony Abbott won the election, and that he is the preferred PM. Gillard and her union thug backers should get out of the way and let him and the Coalition team get into office and drag Australia out of the muck that Labour has left us in.

And if the ALP and their latte sipping mates in the media don't stop meddling then they will feel the fury of your average Aussie. We have had enough; put Tony in charge!
