Iraq: mercenary heaven! The U.S. occupation of Iraq was always about oil and money: four Aussie SAS soldiers who fought in Iraq 12 months ago are back in the country working as private operators for AKE, a British-based international security group. And that's just the tip of a humungous bloody iceberg. Fuck 'em all.

Saddam used intimidation and violence to consolidate his power, the U.S. uses intimidation and violence to consolidate their power; Saddam locked up political prisoners without recourse to law or jusitice, the U.S. locks up political prisoners without recourse to law of justice; Saddam tortured victims for the hell of it, the U.S. tortures victims for the hell of it; Saddam opposed Islamic rule, the U.S. opposes Islamic rule... So, what's all this crap about "democracy' again?!

I've read around 40 SAS personnel (trained at a cost to the Australian taxpayer at $2 Million a pop!) have resigned since the U.S. occupation of Iraq and have gone into "private practice". So much for the "spirit of ANZAC"!
