If you answered yes to any of these questions the answer is TOR.

TOR software brings personal privacy to internet users and you can run it from a USB stick, your desktop machine or even your smart phone.

What's more it is about as easy to use a taking a dump.

The USB stick version is pretty cool. Simply download the USB version, extract the files to a USB stick and you are ready to browse the web anonymously from any location. All you do is plug in the stick, double click "Start Tor Browser" and start browsing the internet with built in version of firefox provided.

    Set up your Pi Hole.... and direct your router to send all DNS requests to it. https://pi-hole.net/ Also might want to set up unbound so requests are not made to your ISPs DNS servers https://nlnetlabs.nl/projects/unbound/about/ So pi-hole blocks DNS resolution to tracking services (or anything you want blocked) and anything that is allowed through the pi-hole filter is resolved by unbound instead of your ISP's DNS servers. And even better if you have a router that get all requests made to port 53 of any IP address sent to your pi-hole service that way any device that makes a request to a DNS server using a hard coded IP address (like TVs and other IOT devices) which doesn't require DNS resolution will also be trapped. If you have a modem and router that is combined as one device you should split them. Get a seperate router and set your ISP supplied modem/router into bridging mode so all it does is provide an internet connection....

    @Analogue Andy The main thrust of the article is that covid-19 provides a great use case for expanding the use of surveillance technology and machine learning during a time when the public will, with good reason, be more willing and eventhusiastic about such a prospect.
