THE WIKILEAKS AMENDMENT

Under instructions from the USA, the Australian government has pushed through new legislation that will allow them to prosecute Julian Assange if he was living in Australia and is charged with a crime in the USA.

The "WikiLeaks Amendment" also makes it easier for foreign governments to extradite Australians. Thanks Julia, thanks Tony!

Julia Gillard took over responsibility for Australia's cyber security policy less than a month after Barack Obama’s Australian visit and when asked about Wikileaks in November last year the US Ambassador to Australia told Anne Davies of the Sydney Morning Herald that, "We will have to see whether there is an offence against any person, and Australia will have to evaluate its own extradition obligations."

The emphasis of Australia being an obsequious client state of the USA continues despite informed Australians cringing in disgust.

The corporate aligned main stream media has virtually completed ignored reporting these new laws that further reduce the rights of all Australians.

So why do Australian governments (Lib and Lab) continue to aid and abet US military expansion, adventurism and self-serving "exceptionalism"? Oh that's right: we are a vassal state with no sense of independent thought or action. Remember Indonesia's invasion of Timor Leste? Remember US (with Oz, dutifully muttering the same) refusing to condemn this blatant aggression? And remember the revelation that the US had decided that, should it come to war between Indonesia and Oz, the US would NOT come to our "aid"! Here's a telling quote: "When I was a kid in the immediate post WW11 era, all of us kids were admonished by our returning fathers if we even briefly held the mistaken belief Australia was saved by the Americans in WW11. We weren't. As Dad and many other fathers said back in those days: "They were going to fight Japan from San Diego? If Japan had only attacked British possessions we would have been on our own. If Germany hadn't declared war on the USA they would never have become involved except for profit. Never trust Americans.' - Ian C. Purdie. And another: "Everything that Richard Nixon did to me, for which he faced impeachment and prosecution, which led to his resignation, is now legal under the Patriot Act, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, and the National Defence Authorization Act (NDAA)" - Daniel Ellsberg.

Why dern't you email 'em 'n tell 'em ta come drink yer beer, huff yer meth 'n rape yer women? 'N when they is done doin all that, Max, why dern't you give 'em a little gooberment titty ta suck on - jest make sure yer gooberment got its tubes all stuck in you 'n yer comrades so that gooberment titty dern't run dry.

Cain't let the gooberment titty run dry, cuz all them leaches is gonna die.

How it works is that the US government first uses taxpayers money to supply a distant country with aid in the form of weaponry but before the country can arm itself strategically they then spend taxpayers money to bomb the fuck out of the country.

    http://www.americanprogress.org/issues/2008/08/left_behind.html

It is a win/win for the US weapon manufacturers who take all of the profits.

It is why the US is going to rack and ruin. Once healthy cities and states are crumbling like you see in third world countries because all of the tax money goes to weapon manufacturers.

The government support the weapons manufacturers through the use of propaganda with 'ooh' 'aaahh' buzz words like "WMD" "Terrorists" "Al Qaeda" "Evil Muslims" "Nukes" "What if" "Protect our Freedom" etc etc

and people like Ricardovitz, dumb Americans, support the wars based on these terror fantasies that harken to their bigotted ideas, nationalistic idiocay, and jingoistic delusions of supremacy.

So keep working your arse of for the war effort dickhead and give your money to the elite rulers that have you aping their propaganda and working hard to earn the money to keep the whole fucking merry-go-round turning. (All in the name of loving Jesus mind you!)

Even with mass communication and clear evidence of all of this in their faces morons like Ricardovitz keep championing the party line.

Has there ever been a dumber population in history?
