US critixism of the effectiveness (or NOT) of the United Nations is as self-serving as everything else the US says and does: if the US PAID its UN dues, if it SUPPORTED international protocls and agreements, if it acually PRACTISED WHAT IT PREACHES to the rest of the world, THEn maybe we would take the US seriously.
